The Message Application System (MAS) is an intelligent system for receiving, processing, and sending various alarms and reports via communications systems from different vendors to different recipients.
The inclusion of alarms can be administered via: integrated contacts, activated contacts, serial interfaces (e.g. lighting call systems with ESPA 4.4.4, Line Protocol), XML-interface and others
The processing of the alarms is done in MAS. Using the integrated software it is possible to distribute incoming messages and alerts to different recipients, taking into account different priorities, times, dates, schedules, and requirements. Depending on the communication system used, alarm distribution can be made to various recipients. Receivers can be: DECT telephones, wireless LAN phones, GSM devices, PCs, and XML-based end devices.
A standard Web server module in industry standard aluminum housing is used. It has: four serial RS232 interfaces (from MAS 3), optional eight or 16 opto-isolated inputs, optional eight relay outputs or 16 open collector outputs, an Ethernet interface, optional integrated GSM modem
